How do I send money Using BHIM App
BHIM basically stands for Bharat Interface for Money, which is an initiative by the Government of India to make sure that all the cashless payments through your mobile phone are both fast and secured as well. BHIM is an app which can be easily integrated with all your bank accounts and UPI applications as well.
The BHIM app has got a pretty basic user interface, the size of the application is just 2MB and should get downloaded just within the blink of your eye. Once you have installed the app, in the beginning you will be asked to select a mobile number so that the app would automatically send a text message on your mobile and then register your mobile number.
Once you have registered your mobile number, you will be asked to set a 4 digit password to access the app. Once you have your password set, now you need to select your bank.
How Do I Send Money Using BHIM?
Here is the step by step procedure on how to send money using BHIM.
1.Firstly, you need to open the home screen of your BHIM app.
2.Click on the Send Money Option.
3.Now just enter the mobile number of the receiver, or simply just select it from your contacts list.
4.If you don’t have the mobile number, then simply enter the permanent address or the aadhar card number.
5.Now just enter the amount which you want to send.
6.Once you click on Pay, your default bank account will be selected.
7.Now in this final step, you just need to enter your UPI PIN and then click on send.
8.If you don’t want to follow all these steps, then you can just click on the scan and pay option, then scan the QR code, enter the amount and then click on send.

With the help of the BHIM app, you can instantly send money to anyone, thanks to the IMPS system. In order to do so, you just need to enter register your mobile number and then set your UPI PIN.
Once your PIN is ready, now you need to link your bank account. Usually when your enter your mobile number then your bank account will be linked automatically, if not then you just need to link it manually. Not only with the help of the mobile number or permanent address, you can also send money with the help of the IFSC code and the account number.
